Alright, let’s go back to the post.
Share your presentation
To collaborate with your teammate on a PowerPoint presentation, you need to share the presentation file with them. You can easily do this by clicking on the share button on the ribbon.
Here you can enter the name/email ID of the teammate you want to share the file with. You can also copy the link and send it to them.
Enter the names or email addresses of the people you want to share with.
You can change the permissions by clicking on the drop-down (or settings, if you’ve selected the Copy Link feature). Make sure you have allowed editing.
Work on the file together
After sharing the file, you and your teammates can work on it at the same time. You can see who is currently working on the slide at the top of the window:
When someone is editing the file, you will be able to see coloured flags that show you where they are editing the file.
Leave comments on the file
While collaborating with your team in PowerPoint, you can leave comments for them. To do this, go to Review and click on New Comment. If the Comments pane is open on the right, simply click on New to add a comment.
Collaborate and chat while editing
You can also chat with the other team members who are editing your file. Click on their image or initials when they appear in the upper right corner to open the chat window. Please note that these chats won’t get saved when you close the file.
Compare and review versions
To compare different versions of a presentation, and to check what changes have been made, first open the original version of the presentation.
Then click on Review and then Compare.
Choose the updated version of the presentation and click Merge.
You can now view comments left by your teammates under Slide Changes in the Revisions task pane.
Finally, you can even revoke access or permission to others after sharing a PPT file with them. To do this, click on Share again, and select Manage Access. In the pop up box, select the user whose permission or access you want to change and change the access as per your needs.
