A brain neuron image on the left with six neurological conditions listed on the right, each with its own icon and description placeholder. The six conditions pre-loaded on the slide are Headaches, Epilepsy and Seizures, Stroke, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia, and Parkinson’s Disease. Teal background with neuron-line pattern accents along the edges. Light and dark versions. Free. 16:9 and 4:3. Editable in PowerPoint and Google Slides.
Neurology Presentation Slide for Medical Lectures and Grand Rounds
Neurology residents presenting at grand rounds or journal club often need a single overview slide that maps out the major conditions within the specialty. This slide does that. Put the brain neuron image in context on the left, and the six conditions on the right give the audience a roadmap of what the presentation will cover.
Medical school lecturers can use it as an intro slide at the start of a neurology module. It sets up the six major topic areas students will learn about during the course. The icon next to each condition (different neuron/brain symbols) provides a visual anchor that helps with recall.
The layout also works for patient education materials. If a neurology practice wants to explain what conditions they treat on a slide during a waiting room presentation or community health event, this covers the major ones in a format that non-medical audiences can follow.
Adapting This Neurology Slide Beyond the Default Six Conditions
The six conditions listed are the most common neurology topics, but they’re all editable. Replace them with conditions specific to your subspecialty: multiple sclerosis, peripheral neuropathy, brain tumors, movement disorders, sleep disorders, or traumatic brain injury. Swap the brain neuron image for an MRI scan, a specific brain region diagram, or your department’s logo.
The hub-and-spoke structure (central image, surrounding points) isn’t limited to neurology either. Other medical specialties can reuse the layout. Cardiology with six heart conditions around a cardiac image. Orthopedics with six musculoskeletal topics. Oncology with six cancer types. Change the icons, swap the image, update the teal color to match your department branding, and the template works for any medical specialty overview.
