How to Make Your PowerPoint Presentation Vertical
To create a vertical PowerPoint presentation, you need to change the orientation of your slides. Here’s how you can do this:
With your PowerPoint presentation open, go to the “Design” tab.
In the “Customize” section, click on the “Slide Size” dropdown menu and select “Custom Slide Size“.
Now under “Orientation“, and “Slides” click on “Portrait” and press OK.
Click on “Ensure Fit” to ensure your content is visible in the new orientation. Or you can click on “Maximize” if you want your content to appear bigger, with some cropping.
Your slides will now be in portrait orientation, which is vertical:
If you need to change the orientation of only a few slides, you can select the slides and follow the same steps to change their orientation. The unselected slides will maintain their original orientation.
You may need to adjust the layout and position of elements on the slides after changing them to the vertical orientation. This can be done by shifting design elements, images, and text boxes to suit the new orientation. To do this, use the arrangement tools by clicking on the element and going to “Format” and then “Arrange“. These arrangement tools will help you arrange the elements to your new vertical orientation.
