DeGraff’s competing values diagram represents the modern concept of Competing Values Leadership developed by Jeff DeGraff. The Competing Values Framework (CVF) was introduced in reply to the need for a generally applicable model that would nurture effective leadership, advance organizational efficiency, and encourage value creation. Named one of the 40 most important frameworks in the history of business by Financial Times, the CVF is the result of over 25 years of academic research, and it is currently applied at hundreds of companies around the world.
